Peter Lumley
Peter's career has crossed the world, working within the Lumley Group of businesses as well as founding a number of independent companies.
Focused on insurance and having served as a director on both private and publicly quoted companies in the past and is now Chairman of Windlesham Golf Management Ltd and a non ex Director of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
He is currently Chairman of The Worshipful Company of Broderers Chartiy Trust and is a Past Master of the Company.
Tony Trueman
Tony is a chartered accountant and qualified with Arthur Andersen. His early career was spent in the manufacturing industry in both South Africa and the UK with particular experience in paper, packaging and print. Following 3 years in an MBO, Tony was invited to join a property insurance intermediary and he has spent the last 20 years in and around insurance. He has a wealth of experience in general management, mergers and acquisitions and providing advise in business. He is an integral part of the Lumley team and has significant responsibility for each of the businesses in the portfolio. In his spare time he plays golf, tennis, cycling and runs amongst taking on challenges that comes his way.
Robert Lumley
Has worked in the insurance sector since 1984 concentrating on “niche” products and is chairman and co-founder of Insurtech Gateway. He is an entrepreneur and insurance professional who pioneered rent and legal protection, tenant referencing and legal expenses in the UK.
Robert is a staunch advocate of the saying: “there’s no such thing as can’t,” in fact, there is nothing he likes more than proving naysayers wrong by finding answers to seemingly intractable problems.
Robert continues his work with niche insurance businesses through the Lumleys.net investments.
Nicole Wenn
Nicole is Customer Service and Finance Administrator for the companies within the portfolio and has been with the business since May 2016. Nicole has a wealth of experience in similar roles within charitable organisations, other commercial outfits and loves travel!
Julia McKay
Julia provides an oversight and investor perspective to the management of the business to ensure the right rigour and due diligence is applied to investments. She is also on the board of the Kathleen Lumley College a non-demoninational residential college for postgraduate students at The University of Adelaide.
